Blogger raises questions about Martin Devlin’s missus – but does anyone (besides the HoS) give a toss?

Martin Devlin’s missus is among those who have become the subjects of the Herald on Sunday’s inclination to trivial pursuits.

This time the rag’s hacks draw public attention to how she phoned somone during work time (we must suppose they have never used company phones for private business).

Obviously they are short of genuine scandals this week.

Oh, and they have taken this phone call as a frail pretext for publishing – yet again – the sports broadcaster’s photo.

The HoS item which carries the photo (in the on-line version, anyway) is breathlessly headed Devlin’s wife in strife at threats.

Oh dear.

How the HoS gave only the scantiest of glimpses at women going naked to promote healthy images

In NZ this threesome opted for body paint.

Alf has been cheated – not for the first time – by the Herald on Sunday.

Its online menu today includes an item headed: Naked truth

Alf has spent a lifetime promoting the truth, all the truth and nothing but the truth, a mission which – naturally – includes anything covered (or uncovered) by the naked truth.

The first para of the online HoS story said –

AUCKLAND: Three women stripped and paraded along Ponsonby Rd to promote healthy body image yesterday as part of Love Your Body Day.

Then came the “more” invitation.

The temptation not to hit it was hard to resist.

Alf did not fight the temptation.
